Welcome to Gara. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gara mobile application and related services ("Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Gara, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gara, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use Gara, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher
• Reside in a jurisdiction where gambling-related tracking applications are permitted
• Not be prohibited from accessing betting-related services under applicable laws

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Description of Service

Gara is a personal betting tracker that enables you to:

• Record and organize your betting activity
• Upload bet slip images for AI-powered data extraction
• View statistics, analytics, and performance insights
• Export your betting history data

4. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Accept full responsibility for all activities occurring under your account

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Subscription Requirement

Gara is a subscription-based service. An active paid subscription or valid free trial is required to access the application. Without an active subscription, you will not be able to use Gara's core functionality, including bet tracking, statistics, AI-powered bet slip scanning, and all other features. Subscriptions are processed and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

5.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period to new subscribers. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires. If you cancel during the trial period, your access to Gara may be restricted or terminated according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You are responsible for managing your subscription through your device's app store settings.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store subscription settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to premium features until that date.

5.4 Refunds

All refund requests are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or false information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, trademarks, logos, and software comprising Gara are owned by Oiva Jolkkonen and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Gara, including bet slip images. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. Original images are deleted after AI processing.

9. AI Processing

By using the bet slip scanning feature, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Images are processed using third-party AI services
• AI-based extraction may not achieve 100% accuracy
• You are responsible for verifying extracted data before saving
• Original images are deleted immediately after processing

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• AI-extracted data will be completely accurate
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GARA, ITS OWNER, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Gambling losses or decisions made based on application data
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Oiva Jolkkonen and Gara from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the application or via email. Your continued use of the Service following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of Gara shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Finland.
